Friday Highlights 13

Today is Independence Day here in Barbados and as such, the featured blogger is one of my talented countrymen :).

painter1 Meet Ian D. Wade, who produces absolutely beautiful painted portraits, among lots of other artwork and shares it with the world. Not only that, but visitors to his page are encouraged to suggest and vote-a-portrait, for him to paint next. Enjoy his work ‘here’

For those new to my blog, each Friday I highlight an incredible blogger and bring readers up to date on my literary progress. In addition, feel free to suggest bloggers you think should be recognised :).

1) I didn’t get to implement my Facebook plan this week as effectively, (*shakes fists at pays-the-bills) so nothing new to report. I will try harder next week though.

2) NaNoWriMo is over, but that’s only 50k, still more to go in order to finish this second installment of the YAntasy series. Let’s go :).

Congratulations to all those who won for NaNoWriMo and if you didn’t meet the target, so what? The point is the effort was made, which is wonderful all on its own. Now, I’m going to see if I can rustle up some Independence goodies for breakfast. Check out the latest Caribbean Do  ‘here’. Be safe, happy and share the good vibes with others. See you Monday :).
